Kelsi, Megan, Amy and I left early Friday morning. We made a brief stop at Hubble trading post where Kelsi picked out a $1600 bracelet! Neat history but the shopping was out of our league. Our next stop was for gas in Windowrock. There was a large outdoor market in the parking lot. We found that was more our market. It was the locals opportunity to shop and trade. Megan and I bought a rug from an elderly Navajo man taking a nap with his hat over his face. It was cool! After this stop we drove hard, stopping in Shamrock, Texas. The girls were a little freaked out that the back access to the hotel brought us past "Slaughterhouse" #4.
Saturday, we started out at 8:15. Amy was dropped off in Belleville and we headed home.
It was great to tuck into our own beds!
Thank you for all of your support and prayers!
